Finance Plant Controller

Work Location: ​Reynosa​

You will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, cost control, budgeting, and compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. The position acts as a strategic business partner to US and local Plant Leadership, providing financial insights to support operational efficiency for Reynosa.

 

Position location is in Reynosa, Mexico

  • Lead Financial Analysis: Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budgeting and planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Cost Monitoring: Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.
  • Internal Controls Implementation: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
  • Inventory Management Support: Support inventory management and conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy. 

Skills that will make you successful

  • Strong knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, and SAP S/4HANA.
  • ARIBA knowledge
  • Background in Financial System implementation like T&E, P2P, others
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English (no negotiable)
  • Strong negotiation and emotional intelligence skills
  • Desirable Knowledge in Maquila and México Taxes
  • Advanced Excel Skills.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards knowledge
  • Data Analysis & Forecasting – Ability to interpret large data sets and develop accurate financial forecasts.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance – Experience designing and maintaining robust financial controls.
  • Inventory & Fixed Asset Management – Understanding of valuation methods, reconciliation processes, and asset tracking.

Experiences that will support your success

  • Education Level Required
    Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA).

    Experience Required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial controller management preferable but not limitans within a manufacturing environment.
