Reporting to the Director of Sales – Target, the Sr Account Executive will plan, develop, and implement strategic growth initiatives by working internally with cross functional areas of the company to achieve company objectives & priorities that are aligned with customer objectives. He/she will establish goals and objectives that will deliver profitable and sustainable growth for the company.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Responsible for retaining a long-term direct customer relationship with Target seasonal buyers.
  • Establish collaborative relationships, both internally and externally, to deliver results against aligned objectives
  • Provide thought leadership + determine best go-to-market strategy in order to elevate the partnership with Target & drive Category growth.
  • Ability to think outside the box + courage to push the boundaries both internally and externally.
  • Ability to pull together cohesive 360 Marketing Plans that leverage Trade/Customer Marketing/Ecomm budgets.
  • Work collaboratively with Ferrara Retail Team to drive execution at store level.
  • Responsible for annual account planning and plan execution.
  • Develop, maintain and adhere to operating budgets and trade spending plans.
  • Responsible for seasonal sales forecasting. 
  • Maintain oversight to the customer supply chain to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Demonstrate the ability to create, define and present unique opportunities/contingency plans that maximize growth in both revenue and margin.
  • Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures.  
  • Understands and demonstrates the Company’s core values and operating principles. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within CPG industry.  Masters preferred.
  • 5 years of Account Sales responsibility.  Target experience preferred. 
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Consumables experience is preferred but not required. Confections experience a plus.
  • Regional requirement – Minnesota (proximity to Target HQ)

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $103,500 - $144,000 annually.
