Proces Operator - 3rd Shit

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
OPERATIONAL TASKS:
•    Operates and maintains the FLP and Bosch bagging equipment and supporting at established standards personnel safety, food safety and performance 
•    Performs quality checks (code date calculate, ASI checks, Piece counts, Packaging seal checks, etc.)
•    Perform the duties of any Packaging Material Handling position or Packaging Operator when the workload requires, as directed by the Packaging Supervisor.
•    Must clean and maintain work area at all times.
•    Produce packages that are acceptable in regards to:
a.    Package weight control
b.    Package appearance

  • i.    Sealing
  • ii.      Registration
  • iii.    Code dating
  • iv.    Hole punching

c.    Product mix and appearance
•    Accessing and print reports from SAP
a.    Maintain established standards of output.
•    Comprehend written instructions.
•    Train packaging employees in the operation of the bagging and FLP equipment.
•    Communicate with other employees in various departments and management.
•    Load product and packaging material onto the equipment.
•    Change and thread films and tapes through packaging equipment.
•    Set-up machines for next shift and complete changeovers as needed.  Assure all material is covered.
•    Maintain clean work area utilizing daily GMP checklists.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

Employee shall follow all required GMP, quality and food safety requirements. In addition, employee shall notify their supervisor or other designated personnel of all quality or food safety findings or incidents.
Employee shall perform required oPRP job functions to do so according to the related factory procedure, including, but not limited to, initiating corrective actions when deviations occur.
