The General Labor employee is responsible for a variety of duties such as packaging finished goods according to FCC quality standards; conducting visual quality checks; informing machine operator of equipment jams, palletizing, dumping candy into packaging machines and general cleaning duties.
Ways you will make a difference
General Labor- 2nd Shift- 230pm to 1030pm
• Adheres to all FCC established GMP’s’
• Assists anytime the line is in a scrap mode
• Assists in other facets of production as needed
• Works at different workstations as production needs require
• Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to FCC safety methods
• Ensures a quality product through regular visual checks
• Responsible for escalating machine issues to Lead Operator
• Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process
• Responsible for proper packaging of all finished goods
• Responsible for verifying and executing pallet patterns where applicable
Skills that will make you successful
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and the noise level in the environment is loud.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to occasionally, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift up to 60 pounds with no assistance.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision, and keep up with the line speeds in a fast paced environment
- Ability to read and write English
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Ensures compliance with SQF, and other relevant standards.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures
- Dependable and flexible when work is required in other facets of production.
- Promotes teamwork, possesses a good attitude, and exhibits flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed
- Ability to work scheduled shift and overtime as needed

Compensation
$22.50 per hour plus applicable shift differential
