Production Clerk - 1st Shift

Responsible for all related production documentation, and is responsible for updating and maintaining the required paperwork. The individual should be able to perform the primary duties listed below and are flexible to perform other duties as necessary. The individual should also have excellent communication skills keeping the production supervisor informed of all issues accordingly.
Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm
Ways you will make a difference

- Provide daily production shop order for Operators
- Print out production orders and handout to material handler to ensure that items are in the production lines in a timely manner
- Communicate with previous shift production clerk in order to follow up on any upcoming orders.
- Attendance tracking: Works with shift supervisor to review schedule and communicate daily request to staffing agency in a timely manner, verifies hours in Kronos, reports discrepancies and makes necessary changes.
- Check Finished Good’s balances and communicate status to Operators indicating if the order is completed etc.
- Files all necessary paperwork
- Keeps production supervisor files fully stocked
- Performs inventory of plant supplies (Ink, Knifes, etc.) and assists in placing orders as needed. .
- Downtime reporting: End of shift Reporting of Downtime reports entered to production database, CSOT.
- Update Daily People Schedule
- Update Daily Production Report
- Update Daily Downtime Reports- Gathers downtime sheets from the line. Ensures information is accurate and then inputs information to production database, CSOT.
- Operator Performance Tracking – Update end of shift performance in assigned spreadsheet
- Create PMO production packets
- Review and signoff of finished packaging records at the end of shift

- Must have an above average attention to detail
- Must be an organized person adept at technical filings
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations
- Be at work as scheduled and in a timely manner.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel)
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
- Ability to work on weekends as required and overtime as needed.
- Promotes teamwork, possess a good attitude, and exhibits flexibility and willingness to perform task as needed
- Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety, quality and other relevant requirements.
- Ensures compliance with BRC, and other relevant standards.
Experiences that will support your success
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years’ administrative experience
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Kronos Time & Attendance
