Warehouse Supervisor
Work Location: Fairfield
Due to the highly interactive nature of this manufacturing position, in-person attendance and flexibility are essential for supporting production schedules, effective communication and collaboration, real-time problem solving, and participation in cross-functional initiatives. Schedules may vary and are subject to change. This position is a 1st shift from 7am-4pm.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing the flow of all finished product in to and out of the plant to include: production and inbound shipments receipts, customer shipments, interplant shipments, inter-warehouse shipments, and special shipments. The Warehouse Supervisor manages hourly employees in support of storage, production supply, inventory, and shipping functions as well as the outlying functions of quality inspections, equipment upkeep, maintenance and sanitation.
Ways you will make a difference
- Manage personnel for safe and efficient finished product warehousing, production supply, outside storage, special packaging, and all inbound and outbound shipments
- Provide supervision, direction, leadership, and coaching to direct reports
- Ensure inventory controls are in place to promote inventory accuracy
- Maintain standards of safety, security, and quality in the warehouse
- Maintain dock and storage facilities in an orderly organized manner
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of trailers
- Partner with other departments for continuous improvement initiatives
- Control assigned shipping location for each customer as well as intra- and interplant shipments
- Ensure adherence to safety and GMP policies and standards

Experiences that will support your success
- 3-5 years experience in a warehouse environment required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience leading and coaching others
- Experience in food manufacturing a plus
- Experience working in an environment with raw materials, ingredients, semi-finished, and finished goods preferred
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledgeable in SAP or similar ERP system
- Understanding of relevant standards of compliance (AIB, SQF, etc)

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $75,000-$85,000 annually.
