The Supervisor, Packaging, reporting to the Manager, Operations plays a hands-on role in leading hourly employees and driving daily packaging, production, and logistics activities to keep product moving accurately and on schedule.
Ways you will make a difference
- Supervise the execution of packaging and logistics plans through operators and other hourly labor in production and warehouse functions
- Participate in the development and implementation of plans and policies to ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility
- Operate production lines in accordance with FDA guidelines, GMPs, and HACCP/SQF program guidelines
- Direct and guide operators and their activities in execution of production and/or logistics plans (receiving, processing, mixing, baking, packaging, shipping, etc)
- Responsible for shift change management and communication as well as daily production standards and labor reconciliation
- Coach employees to ensure compliance and achieve quality
- Resolve problems and mitigate operational issues that result in negative performance
- Support and implement Lean training and Kaizen events as directed by leadership
- Support and execute relevant projects as needed

Experiences that will support your success
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership role
- Experience working with SAP
- Understanding of GMP principles and HACCP standards
- Process, packaging, and/or mechanical experience strongly preferred

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $81,225 - $113,715 annually
