Proactive individual with initiative and ability to work as a contributing team member, as well as individually with little or no supervision or direction. The individual should be able to perform the primary duties; responsibilities listed below and are flexible to perform other duties as necessary. The individual should be able to follow the guidelines and frequency of checks. 

Ways you will make a difference

1.    Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
2.    Adheres to all FPC established GMP’s.
3.    Performs quality checks of work in progress and finish product through inspection and laboratory analysis.
4.    Conducts analytical testing – pH and Chlorine.
5.    Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to FPC safety methods.
6.    Conducts Critical Control Point Checks – Metal Detection
7.    Conducts daily weight checks packaging material.
8.    Conducts ATP/Allergen Swab test on after equipment clean during shift
9.    Quarterly Environmental swabs
10.    Participates in plant’s GMP audit as needed
11.    Participates in Glass, Brittle Plastic Inspection as needed
12.    Review of packaging paperwork
13.    Conduct daily temperature checks
14.    Performs plant walk-through at the beginning and end of respective shifts
15. Places product which is out of specification on a quality hold status as necessary.
16. Maintains inventory of all supplies for the laboratory.
17. Back-up to Quality Control Lab Technician his/her absence.
18. Other duties as assigned.

9. Spreadsheet and database Knowledge (Microsoft Excel)
10. Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety, quality and other relevant requirements.
11. Ensures compliance with FSSC 22000
