Sr. Manager - IT Infrastructure Business Partner

The Sr. Manager, IT Infrastructure Business Partner is responsible to work with business leaders and staff to identify requirements for new technology and partner with them evaluate, select, and write business cases to bring new technologies or changes to existing technology at Ferrara.  The role works closely with the Sr. Director of IT Enterprise Infrastructure and the leader of IT Infrastructure Architecture to ensure recommended additions and changes to all IT Technology used at Ferrara meet business needs and align with defined technology architectures.  This role will lead associated technology project initiatives and be responsible for ensuring they align with IT Technologies running at Ferrara.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Collaborate with business leaders and staff to evaluate needs requiring IT technology and identifying how those needs are best addressed.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Enterprise Infrastructure and Sr. Manager of IT Infrastructure Architecture to align new technology requests with the strategic technology roadmap and existing architectural standards.
  • Manage strategic and tactical vendor relationships and participate in vendor selection efforts.
  • Communicate clearly with IT Business partners and business representatives from analyst to VP level.  Ability to translate business requirements to functional and technical specifications for IT Technologies including cloud computing, enterprise networking, data center infrastructure, and end-point technologies.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects.
  • Responsible for the analysis of technology performance metrics with the objective of ensuring Ferrara technology functions to meet the objectives of the business.
  • Build, implementation, testing, and training solutions for IT Technology Infrastructure under multiple deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Understand and demonstrate the Company’s core values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor's degree in - Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT Technology disciplines
  • In-depth experience with at least two technology pillars:  enterprise networking, enterprise firewall and VPN technologies, cloud computing, or data center infrastructure, end-user technologies.
