Sr. Manager, Category Leadership - eComm
Job Location: Chicago
This role is based out of our corporate HQ located in downtown Chicago and will be a hybrid in-person/remote role and can require up to 10-15% travel.

The Sr Mgr, Category Leadership directly manages eCommerce Category Management, Pure-play and Omni-channel, and is responsible for developing and executing a 3 yr strategic roadmap for Category Leadership in collaboration/alignment with relevant stakeholders. The Sr Manager is responsible for enabling FCC to be viewed as the go-to eComm category resource by strengthening customer relationships, delivering proactive thought leadership, differentiated and relevant insights, and a test and learn mentality.
Ways you will make a difference
- Develop and execute a 3-yr strategic roadmap for eComm Category Leadership in collaboration/alignment with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and embed the eComm Category Leadership Perfect Estore Playbook (PEP).
- Partner with the eCommerce COE and the field-based team to execute PEP with retailers, support and track success, and modify plans as needed to adjust for new learnings.
- Maintain a pulse on the needs/gaps of the Sales organization and ensure delivery of appropriate resources and guidance to achieve omni-channel category leadership objectives
- Triangulate all available data and research, including Customer loyalty, Circana, NIQ, digital shelf metrics, secondary & primary research, and test & learn data to generate timely and actionable insights and solutions and communicate with succinct storytelling.
- Develop and manage relevant KPIs and scorecards to ensure progress.

Experiences that will support your success
- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in consumer goods commercial functions including Category Management
- 2+ years experience in eCommerce Category Management with a major retailer in an FMCG category
- Demonstrated success in developing, implementing, and executing eCommerce category management activities
- Strong project management abilities. Capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight time constraints and within budget parameters
- Solid knowledge of and experience with syndicated data sources and retailer loyalty data platforms (e.g. Circana, Nielsen, Data Impact/Profitero, Mintel, Numerator, Kantar, Luminate etc.)
- High proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Demonstrated success working in a matrixed-organization
- Strong knowledge of chain sales, retail and distributor operations and eCommerce specific KPIs
- Solid experience in presenting ideas and concepts to varying seniority levels within an organization and at the Customer
- Proven track record of tangible impact to top/bottom line

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $123,668 to $173,135 annually.
