Sr. Associate, Content Strategy & Community

The Sr. Associate, Content Strategy & Community will support the content strategy and development process across integrated campaigns, paid social / digital content, planned and agile content and influencer content for select brands. This position will work closely with brand marketing partners and provide content consultation on paid media custom programs and tentpole activations, ensuring the brand has the right content to help drive business and comms objectives.         

This position will also lead community management for select brands and take an active role in the social content creation process with our in-house creative team. They should know how to spot a trend and come up with relevant ideas for our brands. To create content, this position will work with our external agency, internal agency, creators and the ideal candidate has the chops to create content themselves. This role will ensure all content is consistent with our brand positioning and tone / voice.  

 

Ways you will make a difference

  • Support all content for brand campaigns – from strategy to execution – inclusive of planned / agile organic content, traditional paid programs (e.g., paid social, influencers) custom programs (e.g., unique programs with partners) and tentpole programs (e.g., gaming, Super Bowl activations)
  • Determine how content should be created and oversee process with various partners (e.g., internal team, external agency partners or through creators). Take an active role in the content creation process for in-house content development.  
  • Drives the strategy and ownership of our Ferrara Sugar Rush program, our brand fan program that propels our brands into culture, by listening and reacting to influential and everyday voices in culture and tracking/reporting on coverage. Supercharging our super fans!    
  • Drive community management. Partner with our Quality team and social customer service agency to drive consumer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a lead trend spotter and determine what real-time content opportunities our brands should play into.
  • Help us prove and improve! Partner with Insights team to use native platforms, social listening and reporting tools to help us analyze what worked and what didn’t. Analyze data to inform future platform, post type and audience recommendations.  
  • Develop influencer strategies across Ferrara’s portfolio of brands. Oversee influencer partnerships. Ensures all influencer engagements adhere to FTC guidelines
  • Manage library of in-house assets for use across omni-channel touchpoints.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all things content, social media and influencer. Stay up to date on social platform, content and digital best practices and trends. Communicate trends to teams as appropriate. Always answer the questions – what’s next and so what?

  • Highly proficient in the Adobe Suite of Tools
  • Experience working with marketing analytics and social CMS tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Netbase, Social Bakers, etc.) 
  • Can create content for social

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 – 5 years in a social media, content or communications role
  • Experience planning and executing campaigns across online channels 
  • Experience managing communities online, preferably multiple brands at once
  • Experience finding online trends and turning them into branded opportunities
  • Experience creating content and managing an online content calendar  
  • Previous experience working at or with external agencies
  • Experience measuring and evaluating content across channels
  • Experience working within a dynamic cross-functional team environment, navigating objectives to drive priority and deliver breakthrough results

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $80,500 - $112,000.
