The Senior Retail Analyst plays a key role in supporting retail execution by analyzing performance data, maintaining scorecards, and developing actionable insights to drive sales and execution efficiency. This role will work closely with the Retail Analytics Manager, broker managers, and account teams to track key retail KPIs, automate reporting, and provide strategic recommendations that align with company goals.

Ways you will make a difference

Retail Performance Measurement & Scorecards

  • Build, maintain and enhance monthly retail scorecards for Direct Retail, Walmart & Grocery Brokers, and Convenience Brokers.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across scorecards and performance reports.
  • Track store execution trends and provide insights on opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the development of industry-standard benchmarks for key retail KPIs.

Retail Budget Tracking & Management

  • Track and analyze retail execution budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor spending across direct retail teams and broker-managed activities to assess ROI.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly budget performance reports to leadership.
  • Work with the Retail Analytics Manager to optimize budget planning and forecasting based on retail execution needs and sales performance.

Data & Automation Initiatives

  • Work with Retail Analytics Manager and IT to automate manual reporting processes.
  • Streamline data collection from broker reported execution data and internal sales reports.
  • Develop standardized reporting dashboards for weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with broker managers and account teams to ensure alignment between retail execution goals and business priorities.
  • Work closely with the Retail Analytics Manager to support key initiatives and reporting needs.
  • Help develop a closed-loop feedback system to ensure execution insights drive strategic decisions.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly retail team meetings to share data-driven recommendations.

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Retail Analytics, Category management or Merchandising Analytics
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau or other visualization tools.
  • Experience working with self-reported broker data, POS data, and store-level execution tracking.
  • Knowledge of Walmart, grocery, and convenience environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in budget tracking and financial analysis for retail execution programs-Preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $88,350 - $123,700.
