As the Senior Account Manager, Foodservice, you’ll sit at the forefront of our Out of Home strategy, building and expanding Ferrara’s footprint across military, bulk, and foodservice channels. From driving demand in commissaries and C-stores to crafting culinary strategies with major distributors like Sysco, this role blends strategic account management, brand commercialization, and collaborative leadership.

This is a fully remote role; it can be based anywhere in the United States near a major airport.  This role does require extensive travel – up to 40% overnight travel.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Customer Leadership: Manage top-tier accounts across military (DeCA, AAFES, Marines, etc.), bulk, and foodservice distribution. Build and sustain senior-level relationships spanning marketing, culinary, procurement, and operations.
  • Channel Strategy: Craft and execute scalable strategies to deepen Ferrara’s Foodservice presence in C-store, tapping into new use cases, menu integration, and nontraditional touchpoints.
  • Contract & Program Execution: Lead negotiations and execute high-impact trade agreements with precision, driving permanent product placement and program success across customer systems.
  • Forecasting & Analytics: Deliver accurate, insight-driven forecasts while identifying risk and opportunity areas through data-backed analysis and reporting.
  • Growth & Innovation Activation: Lead seasonal initiatives, innovation rollouts, and merchandising programs that accelerate category growth and customer value.
  • Trade Optimization: Manage and optimize trade spend, ensuring strong ROI and alignment with Ferrara’s strategic priorities and compliance standards.
  • Influence Through Insights: Deliver persuasive, insight-rich presentations that drive customer alignment and unlock incremental growth opportunities.
  • Broker Management: Direct and motivate assigned broker partners, ensuring flawless execution of customer programs and alignment with Ferrara’s commercial priorities. Provide clear direction, performance feedback, and strategic focus to extend your reach across key markets.

  • Deep understanding of Military, Foodservice, or C-store channel dynamics
  • Ability to think creatively and commercially—balancing strategy with execution
  • Confidence and credibility in front of senior decision-makers
  • Experience turning data into action and storytelling through insights
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a bias for results

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus
  • 4+ years of experience in customer-facing sales/account management roles
  • 2+ years experience in Military or C-store channels strongly preferred
  • Background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) required; confection experience a bonus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness to travel 30–40%

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $109,000 - $152,000 annually.
