Sr Treasury Analyst

The Sr. Treasury Analyst is a critical position within Ferrara’s Treasury team that will support day-to-day Treasury and Accounting activities as well as drive best-in-class improvements in process and analytical capabilities. This position will report to the Sr. Director, Treasury.

Ways you will make a difference

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the daily cash management process for the company
    • Reconcile daily cash activity and manage daily liquidity needs for the company
    • Recommend revolving credit borrowing and payment decisions to Treasury Manager, while focusing on minimizing interest expense
    • Maintain the company’s daily cash forecast model, ensuring the latest financial planning assumptions are included
    • Continually reassess cash forecast assumptions (primarily related to net working capital) to improve the accuracy of the model
    • Provide Finance leadership with updates on cash position and outlook as needed
  • Directly support the company’s planned implementation of a new Treasury Management System (TMS)
    • Become a subject matter expert with the system
    • Establish new policies and procedures for daily cash reconciliation, including working with Accounting on uploading daily journal entries to SAP
    • Ensure initial data is uploaded correctly to the system
    • Update and track hedge data for FX, Interest Rates, and Commodities
    • Track debt and interest payments, IC loans, and hedge settlements
  • Responsible for forecasting interest expense for the company, analyzing bank fees, and working with Accounting to ensure accuracy of debt and interest expense journal entries
  • Assist team with managing cash/liquidity needs for international subsidiaries, including establishing new cash forecasts as needed
  • Track FX, interest rate, and commodity hedge details, maintain trade confirmation documentation, track hedge coverage levels, provide Accounting monthly MTM information, and assist with ISDA and other documentation as needed
  • Work closely with the AP and International teams to approve wire transfers and templates in accordance with company policy
  • Assist with Treasury related integration activities, including updating and maintaining Treasury policies/procedures and optimizing the global bank account structure for the company
  • Perform administrator responsibilities for the company’s online banking platforms, including creating/deleting users, assisting with questions, facilitating training, etc.
  • Maintain banking documentation including KYC requests, bank account opening/closing documents, user access forms, payment instructions, bank statements, account signer information, and other documentation
  • Provide support with FBAR requirements
  • Work with Treasury Manager on other financial analysis as needed

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 4-6 years of prior experience in corporate treasury or related field is required
  • CTP/CPA/CFA is a plus
  • Previous cash management and/or cash forecasting preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in working with Treasury Management Systems is a plus
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • SAP experience is a plus
