Sr Marketing Manager Canada & LATAM

Due to the highly interactive and team-based nature of this role, in-person attendance for most of the workweek (i.e., 3 days or more) is essential for: effective communication including during in-person meetings, strong supervision, real-time problem-solving, and participation in cross-functional initiatives.

The Senior Marketing Manager, Canada & Latin America (Americas Region) will have the opportunity to substantially influence Ferrara’s growth trajectory and elevation as a global leader, and specifically within the international region known as The Americas, which includes Canada (the largest market) and Latin America (Mexico, Caribbean, Central and South America). This role does not have accountability for the U.S. domestic business.
Reporting to the VP, Americas & Indirect Markets, and in close partnership with the Canada Country Manager and the VP, International Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager will be charged with liaising with Global and Local teams to develop best-in-class marketing plans and processes.
The role is based in Chicago and will require 30-40% travel.
Ways you will make a difference
- Lead the development and implementation of brand and trade marketing plans for Ferrara International’s portfolio of leading confection brands
- Translate brand and portfolio growth objectives into an annual plan, and manage overall annual plan process
- In partnership with cross-functional partners, optimize P&L and drive a profitable portfolio
- Lead advertising and communications plan development and deployment, with the support of global team
- Lead agency relationships/ecosystem, leveraging the scale of Ferrara to disrupt the confection category
- Build the promotional strategy to deliver elite in-store execution and elevated retailer partnerships
- Liaise with global partners to drive brand platforms, executing global brands with consistency and excellence
- Lead in-market new item product innovation and commercialization initiatives
- Lead on-going Category Management analyses and Business Reporting tools
- In partnership with Insights team, lead consumer research efforts (as required)
- Support the on-going management, continued evolution, and application of the market growth strategy, providing respective inputs into key senior level decision forums

Experiences that will support your success
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
- 7+ years’ experience in brand marketing or relevant consulting roles
- CPG industry expertise required with a preference in FMCG
- Experience working with Canadian retail customers, and Global cross-functional stakeholders
- Bilingual a plus (Spanish)

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $112,425 to $157,395 annually.
