The Senior Manager – Deductions Management is responsible for leading the Deductions Management team at Ferrara. This role ensures that customer deductions are processed effectively using SAP and trade management tools. The Senior Manager will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and other internal teams to clear deductions in a timely manner, while optimizing tools and processes to drive efficiency.

This position will be the primary stakeholder for the deductions configuration in SAP, High Radius, and trade management tools, partnering closely with the IT team for system improvements and enhancements.

To perform this job successfully, the Senior Manager – Deductions Management must be able to:

  • Lead Deductions Management Team: Oversee the daily operations, ensuring the team has the necessary resources and support to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to address deductions, communicate effectively with business partners, and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple workstreams and projects to ensure the seamless delivery of service across the organization, ensuring business partner satisfaction.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Extract and analyze data to develop metrics, and provide reports that aid decision-making and process improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Define, develop, and implement best-in-class processes to drive efficiencies within the deductions process, ensuring smooth operation and reducing risk within the trade management tool.
  • Risk and Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify opportunities or risks within trade management tools to maintain the accuracy of financial records.
  • Training & Development: Facilitate training for the Deductions Management team, Finance, and Sales organizations to ensure they are aware of and proficient in using trade management tools.
  • Dispute Resolution: Escalate and resolve any disputes, challenges, or opportunities that may require Senior Leadership attention.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and the Revenue Recognition Policy.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Take on additional tasks as required to support the team and organization.

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, STEM or a similarly analytical major
  • Demonstrated experience in SAP and trade management tools
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and Office Suite

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $112,425-157,395 annually.
