Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting

The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting is a highly visible role at the center of Ferrara’s financial operations, responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company’s financial results. As a key member of the Corporate Accounting & Consolidations team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making across the business.
In this role, you will take ownership of the monthly close process for designated business units—driving accurate, timely, and compliant financial results in a fast-paced environment. You’ll go beyond execution, proactively identifying risks, resolving discrepancies, and continuously improving close processes to enhance efficiency and control.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, and operational partners to ensure alignment between financial reporting and business performance. Your ability to analyze complex data, translate insights, and communicate effectively with stakeholders will position you as a trusted partner within the Finance organization.

Ways you will make a difference
- Supports the Company’s S4/HANA implementation journey, as needed
- Analyze financial statement activity to proactively identify opportunities or risk facilitating overall accuracy of financial records
- Create and maintain data developed metrics, analyses, and report formats to facilitate accuracy of balance sheet accruals and analyze budget variances and business trends
- Manage communications with external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures, and issues
- Partners functionally to manage the following areas:
- Trade and other gross to net accounting
- Advertising and promotional spending
- Other SG&A spend, including (but not limited to) legal, IT, workers compensation & insurance, employee related costs, etc.
- Annual Census reporting
- Mentor Corporate Accounting financial analyst effectively
- Assist FP&A with preparation of annual budget
- Lead new areas with the Jelly Belly migration, as needed

Experiences that will support your success
- Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of accounting experience
- CPA certification preferred
- Accounting experience across multiple areas preferably with manufacturing or consumer products companies
- Public accounting, preferably Big 4 or large regional firm, experience a plus
- High proficiency in MS Excel and Office Suite
- SAP (including S4/HANA) and Oracle EPM / FCCS experience a plus
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- US GAAP and IFRS experience preferred

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $80,325 to $112,455 annually.
