The Sales Systems & Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the corporate back of house systems and data for the Sales Division.  This role touches all parts of the business, providing a working knowledge base of how Sales Operations interacts with Finance, Marketing, Demand Planning, Credit, IT, Field Sales and Brokers. This role is responsible for managing broker commissions and building a good working relationship with our broker partners, managing their access within Ferrara systems.  This position also manages all parts of the sales customer hierarchy within SAP, working with IT, Demand Planning, Credit, EDI, and Customer Service as part of the Customer Master Data team, with an understanding of how master data impacts downstream systems: SAP APO, Business Objects, Salesforce, and trade promotion management tools.  This position is a key liaison with many of the different roles in the company, which provides a great starting place for exposure to other business functions and next step career opportunities. 

Ways you will make a difference

  • This position is responsible for managing the customer hierarchy in coordination with IT for SAP, understanding the impact upon downstream systems.
  • Managing infomation security and account assignment for all sales field and brokers for all sales systems.
  • Generating monthly reports to Ferrara broker management as well as managing personnel access directly with broker houses. 
  • Managing broker assignments and their commission rates per customer, part of the monthly payment process paying broker commissions Assist Accounting Team with history and reporting for back payment inquiries.
  • 1st level production support of troubleshooting issues with Salesforce,, Business Objects and trade promotion management tools ensuring data integrity across systems. 
  • Sales Business Lead/Liaison for IT Support Staff

Skills that will make you successful

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in creating clear, concise and high-quality PowerPoint presentations with ease and efficiency
  • Deep understanding and experience using key Excel functions, including: V-lookups, pivot tables, pivot charts, conditional formatting, and IF statements
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve, often times while using imperfect and/or incomplete information and derive data-driven conclusions to explain business trends
  • Strong work ethic with sense of urgency, accountability, and initiative
  • Strong project management
  • Ability to work independently

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Experience working in system administration, analytical positions or functions
  • Minimum 2 year experience
  • High competency in database management, data mining, report writing, advanced excel user
  • Database Admin/Management Experience, SharePoint/Office 365, Salesforce.com, SAP Master Data experience is a plus
