Senior SAP CPI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining integration solutions using SAP’s Cloud Platform Integration tool. He / She will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Design develop and maintain Integration Iflows using Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and API Management tools (APIM) to send and receive data between SAP and third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with business users and functional analyst to understand integration requirement and come up with technical solutions.
  • Configure and deploy integration Iflows, taking active part in mappings and choosing the right adapters.
  • Monitor and manage integration scenarios to ensure optimal performances and reliability.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve integration issues.
  • Document integration process, design and configuration for future reference.
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement.

Skills that will make you successful

  • Solid understanding of SAP Integration technologies and adapters such as Open Connector, ODATA. IDOC, HTTP, SFTP, AS2, FTP, SOAP, RFC, AMQP, JMS and JDBC.
  • Strong expertise with industry messaging standards such as EDI X12, IDOC, XML, JSON and WSDLs.
  • Expertise in writing SAP CPI Groovy scripts.
  • Proficiency in using SAP CPI tools, such as Integration flow designer, Mapping editor and monitoring tool.
  • Strong understanding of integration concepts including SOAP, REST, ODATA, IDOC.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Collaboration with the team to drive innovation, share knowledge and supporting each other.

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA and SAP technologies is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an SAP CPI developer or similar role with strong understanding of SAP CPI and it’s capabilities.
  • Experience on API framework - working knowledge to use the prebuilt APIs is a must.
  • Experience is SAP XI/ PI/PO is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge in handling SAP IDOC related configuration – like setting up partners, partner profile, mapping, creating standard, custom IDOC message types – inbound, outbound, creating ports, RFC destinations etc.  is desirable.
  • EDI development experience in IBM B2BI is a plus.
  • Hands on experience on building Iflows to connect Salesforce, Ariba, SuccessFactors, IBP, Blue Yonder, Redzone, E2Open etc. is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL or familiarity of Business Intelligence tools such as SAP BOBJ or Power BI is a plus.
