Manager, International Customer Supply Chain

Job Location: ​Chicago​

This role is based out of our corporate HQ located in downtown Chicago and will be a hybrid in-person/remote role.

The Manager, International Customer Supply Chain is responsible for order management and analytical support, continuous improvement initiatives for the Supply Chain organization.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Order Management:  Responsible for order processing for the international distributor orders from order entry through delivery creation.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination and Collaboration: Work closely with Ferrara cross-functional teams, including supply demand and planning, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, QA and international compliance on the tactical orders, deliveries, and shipments to assure the acceptable service level.
  • Coordination with International distributors: assist SC Sr. Director as needed to be a collaborator with the international business unit, international distributors and Ferrara SC functions by providing the most up to date information regarding the production and orders.
  • Lead the weekly or bi-weekly operational calls with the main international distributors and Ferrara logistics teams.
  • Demand Planning: Collaborate with the demand team and different countries on forecasting activities to make sure that the appropriate changes are made and supported by manufacturing and orders are placed timely according to the plan.
  • Production and Supply Planning: 
    • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient transportation of goods from manufactures to distributors and/or customers.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the distribution network.
  • Distribution and Logistics:
    • Identify the number of ocean containers needed in advance and communicate to logistics team.
    • Work in partnership with the transportation and distribution network, both domestically and internationally, to ensure timely delivery of products to international distributors and retail locations.
  • Inventory Management:  With a support of LCM implement efficient inventory management practices to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce product obsolescence.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Fill out weekly international flash report to be shared with Sr. Director of International sales.
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvements with the global supply chain.
    • Generate monthly reports to provide insights into key performance indicators ( KPIs) such as inventory levels, lead times, and order fulfilment.

Experiences that will support your success

  • 4-6 years of experience in International Supply Chain, including Order Management, International Logistics
  • Understanding of international business order processing (customs procedures/paperwork)
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Related Majors or Business, Finance, Engineering
  • Detail Oriented and results driven mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with large sets of data and helping make data driven decisions
  • Working knowledge of SAP S4/HANA or similar ERP
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and Office Suite
  • Experience working cross functionally including sales, supply chain (distribution, transportation, demand, supply, deployment), pricing, quality, and other departments. CPG experience preferred
