Manager, Cybersecurity

Work Location: ​Chicago​

Due to the highly interactive and team-based nature of this role, in-person attendance for most of the workweek (i.e., 3 days or more) is essential for: effective communication including during in-person meetings, strong supervision, real-time problem-solving, and participation in cross-functional initiatives.

This role reports to the Director of Cybersecurity and will be responsible for driving the success of our security programs; interfacing with most areas of the business; helping to shape policy and process; communicating the security posture of the organization and evangelizing Cyber concepts and adoption.

Ways you will make a difference

You will interface with multiple functional areas to understand their needs and help develop secure process to support their outcomes.  You will help to drive the continued improvement of security practices and maturity.  You will assist with the strategic development of the Cybersecurity practice at Ferrara. 

 

Managing the Cybersecurity practice will involve vendor oversight, project management, documentation, policy development and review, and working closely with the IT technical teams to recommend and support the implementation of controls and systems.

  • This is a business partnership role that requires a broad technical background
  • 5-7+ years IT experience including project management and risk assessment
  • 3+ years in security or related leadership role
  • Master’s Degree or CISSP certification
  • Vendor management experience
  • Familiarity with NIST, GDPR, CCPA and NIS2

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $112,278 to $157,189 annually.
