General Shift Hours:

 

10:00 p.m. to 6:15 a.m.

 

Ways you will make a difference

 

  • Operates assigned equipment within production department
  • Completes required quality checks on product in a timely manner.
  • Must have strong knowledge of equipment to maximize output efficiencies.
  • Responsible completing product changeovers in safe, efficient, and accurate manner.
  • Verify production reports completed accurately based on production schedule.
  • Coordinate break/lunch relief to provide minimal disruption to business operation.
  • Assist maintenance with changeovers on designated equipment when necessary.
  • Track/populate line boards where appropriate with hourly performance including downtime incurred.
  • React to unsafe/quality issues immediately by notifying Supervisor.
  • Frequent inspection of equipment during shift, including jaw cleaning, tube inspection and code date verification, change film and ribbon on line when needed following all safety procedures.
  • Record quality weight checks for all tube (10 pouches per tube) every ½ hour. If under/ overweight inspect and calibrate scales as needed.
  • Verify correct temperature setting. If issue persists notified Supervisor.
  • Adjust target weight/parameters for correct product on line.
  • Promptly address issues, such as tube jams, metal detector issues, and empty pouches.
  • Quickly identify and escalate any equipment issues.
  • Control weight by collect 5 pouches (bag) every 30 minutes, or as requested by Q.A verifying pouch seals are at specification.
  • Continuously monitor baggers for quality of product being packed.
  • Ability to enter correct code date/expiration date of product.
  • Inspect all equipment for safety/sanitation/food safety issues.
  • Ability to trouble-shoot equipment and escalate issues that can’t be resolved.
  • Inspect, clean, and replace pull belts as necessary.
  • Perform metal detector and QAR checks appropriately.
  • Communicate with oncoming shift operators any maintenance/quality issues.
  • Must follow all safety regulations and GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Communicate problems or concerns to Supervisor.
  • Perform related duties as assigned or required.
  • Dedication to comply with all applicable food laws, regulations, and food safety requirements.
  • Ability to comply with Company Policies, as well as promotes safety and safe work conditions.
  • Must be able to work a full shift / and overtime as needed.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, twist, stand, bend, climb, stoop, squat, kneel stand, crouch, handle, walk, reach, push, and lift overhead.
  • Must be able to recognize quality issues and take proper action to correct them.
  • Have a good attendance record and follow instructions carefully and thoroughly
  • Must be able to understand production schedule and equipment output capability.
  • Able to respond quickly to new situations and new tasks
