The IT Sr Manager: Plan to Deliver-Planning (PTD-P) will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering transformational projects in the Supply Chain Planning domain. This position is crucial and ensures alignment across the organization ensuring the team understands the direction of business goals and have clear plans to execute on delivering the solutions.

  • Thought leadership: Strong Demand/Supply/Deployment planning subject matter expertise and ability to partner and influence senior leadership across business and IT. Advising, implementing, and managing new technological capabilities that complement multi-year business roadmap.
  • Drive Strategic Initiatives: Lead and deliver on high visible strategic and transformational initiatives across the PTD-P value chain aligning with business values and objectives. Ensure the intended outcomes and benefits are achieved.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive on-going reliability and stability of systems, ensuring minimal-to-no business disruptions. Enhance user adoption of technology tools and standardized processes within the planning function.
  • Team Leadership: High performing team builder who can identify and/or coach for needed skill sets as well as influence peers, mentor employees and lead third party support team.
  • Cross functional alignment: Align multiple cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives by leveraging relationships, resolving conflicts, and eliminating obstacles to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Change Management:  Ability to identify and work with cross functional teams to drive change management needed to insure successful implementation and adoption of new technology tools.

Skills that will make you successful

  • Strong track record of delivering complex multi-year transformation programs involving SAP APO/SAP IBP and other planning systems.
  • Solid level of understanding of all modules of SAP IBP with expertise in at least 2 modules across DP, SNP, PPDS or GATP.
  • Ability to lead Design workshops in front of an audience comprising of both Business and IT teams.
  • Ability to architect an end-to-end solution while understanding the integration aspects between different modules within IBP as well as of IBP with other systems.
  • Deep understanding of technology architecture and business processes they support.
  • Ability to align multiple cross functional business and IT teams to achieve business objectives.  
  • Conflict resolution and elimination of obstacles to timely project deliverables.
  • Influential leader with high EQ leading diverse stakeholders including internal business, IT, and 3rd party global teams.
  • Experience with vendor management and negotiation with software and/or service providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage successful teams. Effective communicator, who expresses him/herself, clearly to a variety of audiences; is an active listener.
  • A strategic manager who can assimilate large amounts of complex and diverse information and focus on the core ideas and issues. Ability to adjust behavior to new information and changing circumstances.
  • Understanding of project management methodology both Agile and waterfall as well as SDLC and ITIL processes

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or equivalent experience
  • 15+ years of experience as a technology leader with Demand and/or Supply Planning
  • 5+ years of management experience as a people leader
  • Proven experience working on large scale technology programs and digital transformation initiatives in fast moving CPG, Food and beverage or retail industries.
  • Experience in leading projects within Planning value chain, digital experience for planning teams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices and standards in demand and supply planning and efficient use of software technology to implement these practices to drive business outcomes.
  • Extensive experience driving change management initiatives.
  • Multiple life cycle implementations of SAP and/or S/4, transition from SAP APO to SAP IBP.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $118,635-$166,090 annually.
