Director, Pricing & Promo
Work Location: Chicago
Due to the highly interactive and team-based nature of this role, in-person attendance for most of the workweek (i.e., 3 days or more) is essential for: effective communication including during in-person meetings, strong supervision, real-time problem-solving, and participation in cross-functional initiatives.

The PRGM Director is responsible for the pricing and promotional strategy for the Everyday Sugar business.
Ways you will make a difference
- Providing rigorous analysis and monitoring of competitive pricing actions, assessing pricing elasticities and providing strategic pricing recommendations.
- Leading pricing action analytics which includes volume and P&L impact, working with cross-functional teams on pricing action alignment, preparing external Sales Communication package, updating price lists and internal communication FAQs, etc.
- Developingdeveloping trade and promotional strategies for Sugar and providing executional support to translate promotional strategies into the market.
- Sourcing and developing insights of the latest market trends, competition actions, promotion return on investment (ROI) performance, optimization levers and profit improvement opportunities, communicating those insights to the Finance, Brand and Sales leadership and providing actionable recommendations.
- Developing annual pricing and promotional guidelines and guardrails that support Ferrara Sugar brands strategic priorities.
- Providing insights and recommendations for the Senior Leadership Team for the IBP and Finance Functional reviews.
- Developing and maintaining IFR process, guidelines, tools, and reports. Finally – the Director works closely with the Vice President Commercial Finance & PRGM to establish long term goals and then executes to develop capabilities, balancing the short- and long-term goals of the company.
- Managing 2 direct reports: one Senior Manager who supports PPA and Pricing strategy and one Manager who supports Trade Promo Optimization strategy.

Experiences that will support your success
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA preferred, CPA is a plus
- 10+ years’ experience in related accounting/financial experience, CPG experience a plus
- Strong understanding of Consumer Goods P&L fundamentals, finance and accounting principles
- Excellent technical skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Knowledge of SAP, EPM or similar ERP system
- Cross-functional partnership experience, broad strategic thinking and strong influencing and communication skills (written and oral)

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $130,725 to $183,015 annually.
