The Director, Employer Branding will build and implement the global talent attraction and acquisition strategy for Ferrara, positioning the organization as a global Employer of Choice by delivering a complete approach for Employer Branding, Internal Recruitment and External Recruitment. The leader will excel at collaborating as they will be expected to drive a critical program in partnership with leaders from HR, Corporate Communications, and the broader Ferrero ecosystem of related companies.

 

This position reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition.

 

The role is based in Chicago, IL.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Define and provide guidance for Ferrara’s Employer Branding strategy; guiding local and regional teams on target audience, media investment, content development and KPIs
  • Develop holistic digitalization strategy with respect to social channels, content, and tools and integrate into the HR technology roadmap
  • Lead the early-in-career programs and leverage as an impactful employment branding asset
  • Manage, moderate and provide guidelines in relation to the company’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
  • Develop a set of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the employer branding strategy
  • Research external benchmarks and best practices to ensure Ferrara’s market position is consistently strong among our talent competitors
  • Define the communication plan in agreement with Internal Communications and Corporate Communications to increase the awareness and the engagement of the employees
  • Lead development of marketing collateral to support global recruiting efforts and high-priority targeted campaigns for Ferrara business functions
  • Collaborate cross functionally (Head of DEI, Talent Management, etc.) to articulate and elevate our culture, values, and employee value proposition

  • Proven ability to serve as a trusted and influential advisor and counselor to senior leaders and to cultivate meaningful relationships with individuals of influence
  • Strong interpersonal skills (communication, coaching, setting expectations, providing feedback)
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and measure the ROI for marketing campaigns with data and analytics
  • Fluency designing and developing and impactful activation from creative brief through KPI measurement
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor's degree required preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Journalism or Public Relations
  • 10+ years of relevant brand strategy, social media, and content marketing experience in the fast moving consumer goods or CPG industry. Ideally, agency experience supporting top tier multi-national or global organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing and communications technologies, including marketing automation software, social media, intranets and content management systems
  • Demonstrated project management skills and outstanding verbal and written communication skills
