Customer Business Lead, 7-Eleven

Reporting to the Director of Sales for Convenience National Retailers, the Customer Business Lead will plan and execute business driving initiatives through collaboration with cross functional partners to achieve company objectives aligned with customer objectives. The Customer Business Lead -7Eleven will build plans on the 7Eleven business to deliver profitable, sustainable growth for Ferrara across all Lines of Business (Sugar, Fruit Snacks, and Seasonal).

Ways you will make a difference

  • Own the sell-in process for 7Eleven, coordinating all cross-functional needs, adhering to Ferrara & 7Eleven timelines with activities including, but not limited to Line Reviews, Promotional planning, Samples, Item Setup, Forecasting, FOA planning, JBP negotiations
  • Build and retain long-term, collaborative relationships with 7Eleven via excellent customer service
  • Establish internal relationships to effectively influence and collaboratively achieve objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to deliver profitable, sustainable growth while mitigating risks
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration with Category Leadership, Supply Chain, Customer Marketing, Retail, Shopper Marketing, and Retail to maximize results
  • Meet or exceed company growth objectives while adhering to trade budget
  • Develop and retain talent as this role is responsible for 1 headcount
  • Desire to provide constructive input to continuously improve processes
  • Demonstrate the company’s core values & adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills that will make you successful

  • Self-starter who proactively identifies business risks and opportunities, closing them collaboratively with stakeholders
  • Detail oriented. Strong organization skills and ability to manage processes effectively
  • Analytical mindset. Understanding of customer specific data, and syndicated data (Circana)
  • Ability to analyze data, develop fact-based recommendations, and create and deliver strong presentations across functions and levels, internally and externally
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong relationship management skills, emphasis on collaboration and alignment, across functions and levels
  • Competency and/or demonstrated ability to quickly learn 7Eleven and the category (Sugar, and Fruit Snacks)
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds

Experiences that will support your success

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of Sales or related experience working with 7Eleven or Convenience customers (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Customer/Channel Marketing, Category Management, and/or Sales Operations is a plus
  • Experience working with McLane and CoreMark is a plus
  • Experience working in Confections is a plus

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $123,750 - $173,000 annually.
