The Brand Finance Senior Analyst is the finance business partner for marketing Brand Managers and Associate Brand Managers.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Reporting to the Seasonal Brand Finance Director, the Seasonal Brand Finance Analyst will provide comprehensive analytical and financial support for key initiatives within Ferrara’s seasonal portfolio (including confections and fruit snacks)
  • Key cross-functional partners include brand marketing, operations, procurement, and sales (both field sales and sales strategy)
  • Leads seasonal stage gate process, managing and refining financial models for all items going through the stage gate process (including innovation and existing items)
  • Responsible for monthly financial forecast (FY and rolling 12-month)
  • Supports seasonal portfolio strategy in collaboration with cross-functional partners, assessing Ferrara’s portfolio and making recommendations to improve product, pricing and mix to drive profitability
  • Analyzes competitive landscape within seasonal confections/fruit snacks, making recommendations to support strategic commercial actions
  • Key contributor to Ferrara’s annual operating plan and 3-year strategic plan
  • Provides ad hoc analysis as needed for both finance and cross-functional partners

Skills that will make you successful

  • 2-3+ years experience in accounting, finance, or other quantitative field, CPG experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to translate data-driven findings into actionable recommendations
  • Advanced skills in Excel, with a demonstrated ability to build and manage complex financial models
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint
  • Robust understanding of P&L statement, with the ability to evaluate top- and bottom- line drivers
  • Strong ability to communicate across all levels of an organization (both written and oral)
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with cross functional partners
  • Experience working across multiple departments/ with multiple stakeholders to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and deliverables
  • Ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Finance or accounting preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with CPG preferred
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficient Excel skills preferred
  • SAP and/or High Radius experience is a plus
