Brand Analyst, Seasonal
Work Location: Chicago
Due to the highly interactive and team-based nature of this role, in-person attendance for most of the workweek (i.e., 3 days or more) is essential for: effective communication including during in-person meetings, strong supervision, real-time problem-solving, and participation in cross-functional initiatives.

The Brand Analyst is responsible for partnering with the Brand Manager in marketing strategy planning, development and implementation, portfolio and P&L management, communications, and commercialization for brands. The role contributes to cross-functional teams working with Sales, Operations, Finance, R&D (InTech) and outside agency partners in order to execute brand initiatives.

Ways you will make a difference
Marketing Strategy
- Assist in development and execution of annual and multi-year brand strategic plans.
- Support brand team in management of consumer and customer marketing programs that drive consumer engagement and profitable growth with key retailers.
- Partner with Sales Strategy and Category Management teams to ensure Sales efforts are aligned with overall brand strategy, including creation of selling stories and communication / release of sales-related materials to field team.
Portfolio and P&L Management
- Contribute to monthly business reporting and analysis by gathering consumption and shipment data and converting into insights and storytelling.
- Manage brand budget, own purchase order creation and invoice processing.
Communications
- Support brand team in execution of communications plan tactics to deliver on-budget, growth-driving tactics in packaging, promotions, advertising, PR, digital and social engagement.
Commercialization
- Execute commercialization projects from ideation to scope development through commercialization, with support from the Brand Manager.
- Develop concept artwork for specific skus within the broader portfolio, inclusive of reviews in Dragonfly.
Team Leadership & Development
- Support the cross-functional leadership role of Marketing in order to build a high performance cross-functional environment.
- Demonstrate solid business acumen in project management, financials, forecasting, building a business case, customer relations and presentation skills.

Experiences that will support your success
- Bachelor's degree
- 0-2 years of consumer marketing, brand management or product management experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with IRI or Nielsen a plus
- Proficiency with SAP a plus

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $96,000 annually.
