Analyst, People Hub

Work Location: ​[Chicago, IL]​

Due to the highly interactive and team-based nature of this role, in-person attendance for most of the workweek (i.e., 3 days or more) is essential for: effective communication including during in-person meetings, strong supervision, real-time problem-solving, and participation in cross-functional initiatives.

As an Analyst in the People Hub within People & Organization (P&O), you will be the first point of contact for Ferrara colleagues, assisting with inquiries and providing solutions while demonstrating care, empathy and respect. You will handle a variety of tasks, such as processing data transactions in P&O systems, resolving issues and improving process performance. Alongside your teammates, you'll ensure the People Hub delivers a great experience for Ferrara colleagues while safeguarding compliance and improving efficiency for the Company.

Ways you will make a difference

Employee Engagement & Communications

•    Design and execute employee engagement campaigns, including newsletters, site communications, awareness initiatives, interactive quizzes, contests, and recognition programs to increase employee participation and engagement.
•    Develop communication strategies and activation plans to drive adoption of HR programs, policies, systems, and organizational initiatives.
•    Create presentations, communication materials, and engagement metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and continuously improve participation.

 

People Analytics & Reporting

•    Analyze HR, payroll, attendance, scheduling, and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
•    Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting for business leaders using reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI.
•    Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis to ensure data accuracy across HR, payroll, and timekeeping systems.

 

Process Automation & Continuous Improvement

•    Lead automation initiatives leveraging tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and reporting technologies to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and improve service delivery.
•    Identify opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance the employee experience through digital solutions.
•    Partner with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable process improvements and monitor effectiveness.

 

Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership

•    Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, People & Organization teams, plant leadership, supervisors, managers, payroll, and other functional stakeholders to support business objectives.
•    Consult with stakeholders to understand challenges, provide operational recommendations, and drive resolution of complex employee lifecycle, payroll, attendance, and system-related issues.
•    Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure alignment, compliance, and consistent execution of people processes.

 

Knowledge Management & Governance

•    Support development of knowledge articles, training materials, job aids, and standard operating procedures to promote self-service and operational excellence.
•    Monitor trends in employee inquiries and recommend proactive solutions, communications, or training initiatives to reduce recurring issues.

Skills that will make you successful

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Human Resources specialization is a plus
  • 2+ years of work experience – previous experience in shared services, contact center or professional service delivery environment
  • Familiarity with HR systems, processes and practices, with ability to navigate common enterprise HR systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and capable of independently establishing priorities
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information with unwavering attention to detail
  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality service in a professional manner while managing a high volume of transactions
  • Spanish language skills are a plus

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $71,100 - $99.540 annually + 10% bonus potential.
