Analyst, Life Cycle Management
Work Location: Chicago
Due to the highly interactive and team-based nature of this role, in-person attendance for most of the workweek (i.e., 3 days or more) is essential for: effective communication including during in-person meetings, strong supervision, real-time problem-solving, and participation in cross-functional initiatives.

This Analyst position is responsible for leading and managing the life cycle activities of the company’s product portfolio to ensure that residual inventory and obsolescence targets are met. This person will manage and own the specific discontinuation activities and SKU transitions as well as create and document the policies, process, and procedures for governing and managing a SKU's life cycle. The main KPI’s of the role are savings of potential waste/write off and helping to achieve the departments Obsolescence plan for the year.
Ways you will make a difference
- Experience directly managing the end of life processes for “to be” discontinued SKU's in the portfolio. This includes timeline inputs, tracking of FG and Raw/Pack inventory run outs, and adherence to plan.
- Experience providing regular status updates to management on adherence to project plans, root cause of any misses, risks, and options/tradeoffs/recommendations to minimize impact.
- Solid cross-functional team leadership skills, including ability to identify and resolve issues/opportunities.
- Familiarity with SAP software and Business Warehouse/Business Intelligence systems strongly preferred.
- High competency in mining and analyzing data and reports; Excel experience
- Experience and skill presenting concepts to multiple audiences.

- Supply Planning or Inventory Management Experience strongly preferred
- Strong verbal, written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and able to shift priorities quickly
- Solid understanding of business process flows

Experiences that will support your success
- BA/BS; in quantitative majors preferred (i.e. Engineering, Statistics, Operations Management, Economics, Business, Logistics)
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
- High competency in mining and analyzing data and reports
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products; primarily Excel

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $68,625 to $96,075 annually.
